About Mary

Blending UX and front-end
I work at the intersection of design and engineering, building clear, thoughtful interfaces for complex products. My focus is turning complicated systems—especially AI-powered tools—into experiences that feel intuitive, structured, and reliable.
I care deeply about organization, accessibility, and the details that make products feel polished. By working closely with designers, product managers, and engineers, I help translate complex product ideas into interfaces that are simple to understand and easy to use.

Outside work
I swam competitively through college at Carnegie Mellon, where I was a two-time All-American, NCAA qualifier, and graduated holding eight school records. These days I channel that same competitive energy into triathlon, primarily racing the half Ironman distance and competing at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in 2024 and 2025.
Outside of training, I'm a big foodie who loves discovering great restaurants and hosting cozy dinners for friends. I also love traveling—especially planning carefully curated itineraries, exploring national parks, and experiencing new places.
At home, I enjoy creating a space that feels calm, aesthetic, and thoughtfully organized.
